Dr. Kevin Minder, Executive Director
Dr. Minder received a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, Italy, in the summer of 2004. His doctoral work centered on the denial of Medicaid benefits to legal immigrants to the United States. He has lectured extensively both in Italy and in the states where CIHJ is currently working. He focuses his energy on public education and building networks of support for equitable access to Medicaid and CHIP coverage for lawfully present immigrant children and pregnant women.
Sharon Ryan
Sharon serves as the IT Director for CIHJ.
She has a Master's degree in Public Administration and over 25 years experience in research and information technology. She was most recently a Programmer Analyst at Washington University School of Medicine. Her skills include database management and web site design. She is strongly committed to the work of improving social justice and health care for immigrants.

Danny Dugan, J.D.
Danny Dugan is chief counsel, region VIII HUD federal attorney, He was a founding keystone member of "Doorways" the St. Louis AIDS charity. He is well known in the Philanthropic community in St. Louis and is a great asset to our Board.
Marita Anne Marrah, F.S.M.
Most recently Sr. Marita Anne retired from her lifetime work at Cardinal Glennon Children?s Hospital and South County Facilty in Speech Pathology for children ages 2 to 5. Her work in South City exposed her to the pressing needs of many immigrants. She is a former leadership team member of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary and former Board Member of S.S.M Healthcare.
Iskra Pusic, M.D.
Dr. Pusic is physician at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She specializes in Hematology and Oncology, with special interest in stem cell transplantation.
Harry R. Scharf, D.D.S.
Dr. Scharf is board certified in general dentistry and attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He worked for the U.S. Army in St. Louis providing dentistry to soldiers prior to joining the Family Care Health Center staff in 2002.
M. Annette Seymour, R.S.M
Sr. Annette Seymour has worked extensively in university campus ministry. Her interest in non-traditional medicine brings a unique gift to the board, since many immigrants come to our shores with a non-western view of medicine. She has a passion for justice for immigrants.
Camilla Verret, R.S.M.
Co-founder of the Women's Intercultural Center on the U.S./Mexico border, Camilla brings great passion to the issues of immigration and healthcare. She is also a member of boards of directors of hospitals sponsored by Sisters of Mercy of the Americas.
